Youth Exchange VidNOVA: UA 2025

As part of the Ukrainian youth exchange »VidNOVA : UA«, HOPE HOME • НАДІЯ brought together young people from different regions of Ukraine, local residents, internally displaced people, and people with disabilities to co-create an inclusive youth space in Novomykolayivka.

Using hemp-clay plaster, clay paint, and reclaimed timber, participants worked side by side, combining hands-on construction with dialogue, mutual learning, and the experience of empowerment through collective action.

The project was implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Youth Center, and the NGO »City of Active Citizens«, with funding from the Governments of Denmark and Japan.

The project was presented at the international online exhibition House of No Waste, organized by United Nations University – FLORES, where it received the Acknowledgement Prize.
